Registration for 2012

Registration for the 2012 event taking place on September 14-15, 2012 will open on December 1, 2011. The entry fee for 2012 is $1,280 for a Standard team (7-12) and $700 for an Ultra (4-6). We will reserve some spots for charity fundraising once the initial 425 entries are sold out. Remember that your spot is not reserved until your entry fee has been received.

Welcome to Team Sign up! This is where your RTB adventure begins. Team sign up begins on December 1, 2011 and will continue until the race sells out at 425 team limit set for 2012. Based on past years, we expect the event to sell out in March. Once you sign up your team and pay the entry fee, you have until August 1 to withdraw your team and receive a full refund. Just send an email to registration@rtbrelay.com and let us know you are withdrawing your team. Checks will go out within a month of us receiving your notification. After that time no refunds will be given for any reason. Please follow the next steps to get your team signed up. Have fun!

• Send in the entry fee or pay on-line via credit card. Your team is not fully registered and a spot reserved until payment has been received.
  
• Contact your team members and get them to sign up on the runner registration page after February 29.
• Manage your teams information via the team captain login page to make sure all information is accurate: here
  • Accurate email addresses are important as we send out periodic email updates to keep make everyone informed about important updates or changes.
  • Pace per mile estimates need to be accurate. Each runners pace is averaged to give your team an estimated team pace. If your actual race team pace is +/- one minute off your estimated pace, your team may be penalized and/or asked to skip ahead during the event.
  • If any of your teammates need to change their information after they have registered, you will be able to make the changes. Please let them know that you will be the contact for information changes.
    
• On or around September 1st, if your team has a full compliment of runners, your start time will be posted on-line.
• By September 4th, please make sure your team has signed up for the pre-race dinner and/or breakfast. Tickets will be available on our on-line store in June.
